Trip chapter 15
Saskatoon to Winnipeg
The first day of the three-day sprint home, with a Yorkton trail stop and a no-dog-charge Super 8 overnight in Winnipeg.

The next phase of the trip was a three-day sprint home. The first overnight target was Winnipeg, which made the Saskatoon-to-Winnipeg day a long prairie push rather than a sightseeing day.
A proper stretch in Yorkton
Our first stop was Logan Green Park in Yorkton. It was a lovely place to break up the drive, stretch our legs and follow some trails with Tilly before getting back on the road.

From Yorkton we pushed through to Winnipeg. It was a pretty long travel day, so the hotel mattered less as a destination and more as a clean, easy place to stop with no extra dog fee.
We stayed at Super 8 Winnipeg East on Niakwa Road. There was no dog charge during our visit, and they provided a blanket and bed for Tilly, which was a nice touch after hours in the car.
