The short version
Tilly and I stayed at the Quality Inn Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on the first night of our 2026 drive east. Check-in was at 3 p.m. and checkout was at 11 a.m.
The hotel charged a $30 pet fee for the night during our stay. The surrounding area was mostly commercial, with a couple of nearby restaurants whose dog policies I did not verify.
There was not much green space immediately around the hotel, but a reasonable strip of greenery behind the buildings worked for walking Tilly. I also saw several people walking dogs in a park across the street, although we did not explore it ourselves.
The pet fee was $30 for the night during our July 2026 stay. Confirm current fees, restrictions and room availability directly before booking.
