Our practical Truro notes: a duck-filled park wait, a quiet upper-floor hotel stay and the tidal flats of the Fundy Discovery Site.
Truro was an overnight stop on the drive into Nova Scotia, and we arrived early enough to wait out check-in at Kiwanis Park, where the pond was full of ducks.
The hotel area itself is not super dog friendly, but the Fundy Discovery Site was a two-minute drive away and a cool little walk to watch the tide come and go.
