Our practical Digby notes: a harbour-view suite above a dog-friendly restaurant patio, famous Digby scallops and an evening on the waterfront.
Digby is a fishing town on the Bay of Fundy, famous for its scallops, and our planned final stop on the way there was cancelled because of a nearby wildfire, so we pushed straight through.
We stayed at the Fundy Restaurant + Dockside Suites, where our little room had a balcony over the harbour that Tilly loved, and we ate famous Digby scallops on the dog-friendly patio.
Harbour balconyOur suite's balcony over the harbour was Tilly's favourite spot.
Famous scallopsWe tried the famous Digby scallops on the dog-friendly patio.
Waterfront strollsThe lighthouse, fishing boats and boardwalk made easy evening walks.
